Modifying Theme - How does it look?

Post content should be bigger. Use a bigger size for the font, it's what people need to see. I'd ditch the images in the signature, they look unprofessional and distract from the main content. Looking good otherwise
 
Thanks for the post, I'm increasing the font size as well as a couple of other changes.
 
I disagree on both of what dojo said.

I like the current font size, I don't believe bigger font would be a very good improvement.

As for the signatures, I don't believe that they are "unprofessional", I think if you want a lightweight, simple design disabling signatures and avatars would make that happen. But if you want the users to have some abilities, and a way to stand out from every other member then allowing signatures would be best. Of course you could always set restrictions like signatures can only be X pixels by X pixels, like here on FP.

I did like the font, but I was iffy about whether I should increase it or not. After looking at a larger size vs smaller several times, I like the larger font more. It's only a 1px increase though, so it's not too different.

As for the signatures - I agree. I don't have any hard-set rule on how large they can be, but I'll allow them up to a certain point. If large signatures become a problem, I'll definitely make a stronger rule for them.

I changed it up a little - coded the description hover and made the footer stats look a little nicer.

I agree with this. Not only could you set that restriction but you could also make it to where a user has to have so many posts before having the ability to add a signature. That's if you feel things are getting a little crazy or out of hand with the sigs.

Also, quite a few changes have been made. Many may be subtle, but I think the theme is looking a lot better than it does in the screenshots in this thread. You can check it out live, though Profiles aren't viewable by guests, and there have been some changes there as well. I'm planning on letting guests view them, but I need to add some php to hide some of the more personal content in profiles.

If you've seen the site before, you may need to refresh to see the most current look.
