There are many guides I see that have shortened links using adfly. I am not sure if that is a good way to earn money and if users are going to leave your website because of that.

Do you monetize links on your websites with adfly?

I currently do not advertise links on my forum with adfly.

No, I think there are other ways to earn money than using a URL shortener that display ads. Members will get annoyed with it if I use it on my site.

I tried it but stopped using it quickly because I found out it is very annoying for members and myself.

I don't think it's the best option. Considering everyone has an adblock nowadays, all they would be looking at is a blank white screen waiting to be redirected to whatever they clicked on.

It'd be more annoying than anything, having to wait. It would probably be just like slow page loading; and I'm sure most people know how annoying and irritating a slow website is. Lol

I've seen a site with a 20k + member base use Ad.fly for download links, But within a month It was removed because the members literally made a poll to remove it and until it was removed, they wouldn't download anything.

Well, adfly isn't a good way to make money.
And it is very irritating for your members. It's better to advertise with Adsense because then you won't lose as many users as using ad.fly.

I've never tried and heard about adfly before, but why don't use shorten all your links using google's url shortner and if your links receive a lot of clicks, this ad network may just be perfect for you. 😛
