Monk final episode

Tonight marks the end of a good 8-year run with an enjoyable TV show, Monk. At 9 ET, USA will air the final episode of Monk and it'll be over.

Not necessarily, he could still come back to do the show if they were to ever bring the show back. You never know, it’s up to the producers and actors. *shrugs*

From what I've read, it was Tony Shalhoub's decision to end the series and kind of "go out on top." I believe he is one of the Executive Producers of the show, so it was his decision as a producer and as the star.
