Monthly Contest Ideas?

Hello everyone,

I am looking for monthly contest ideas to promote activity on my website, www.fortnitechatter.com. Basically, I've done a contest for referrals, and the most active. I need some ideas for future contests. Any ideas are helpful.

Hi @FortniteChatter, I run a monthly one on my site using one of the addons from Snogs, my site is small and a hobby site however the members love it.
Feel free to have a look and use the idea if you wish, I see many sites doing the same thing to engage members.

Running a competition isn't easy to run, I failed many times. But if you have good group-based active members and they passed the word around that you are doing a monthly event.

But have you looked into screenshot events, Most people are into Fortnite, members joining as it's about Fortnite and so do a screenshot event, send your best Fortnite gaming images 🙂 have all images sent by members, then have your community vote for the image that they like, and the image with the most votes wins 🙂

How about coming up with some riddles that have to be solved as a contest? They could be related to the game.

Another idea could be the highest score, with a screenshot of course as proof.

I'd do monthly goals. Like xx amount of posts, xx amount of members. Whoever does the most posts wins. Whoever refers the most members wins.

You could go on and on with that.

You can let the members nominate other members for the "member of the month" contest, those with the highest nominations will stand for the "member of the month contest".

You definitely want to put a lot of emphasis on your members as the goal of the contest rather than a goal of getting more activity.

When people feel they are really appreciated, they tend to stick around. 🙂
