In the introductions , I was asked this:
"Welcome!

How many parrots do you own?" And I responded, with 26, and I am not kidding or making
this up.
Any way, yes , all together I have 26 parrots, but I do not own them, they own me.
Also, they are not all the same type of parrot, there are many species of parrots,
I have about 7 different species, and of the 26 birds, 9 are fairly recent hatches,
"babies".
For now, I guess that is about it,
except, about Open Bsd, and in case the reader does not know what that is, OpenBsd is
a operating system, and that is what I use as my OS, and also on the server as well.
If I say to much in 1 post, I guess nobody would need to ask any questions, so for now that is about it.
Thanks

That is a good question, it is a very long story.
My first website was way back in the early 90's, I had been using html even earlier but just on my PC and dos.
I was also involved to some extent with "usenet" , and I wanted to start a group, at that time it was required or asked, that
a new group got 150 yes votes in order for the group to be started.
At the same time there all ready were a few of the earliest websites. All though I got the votes needed to start the news group at
usenet , mostly via e-mail and announcements , I realized a website would be use full as well , partly for announcing the proposed group, and also for publishing material, etc.
So any way, I started a web site, using the dos editor to write my html, and a unix server to host the web site. Later, due to personal problems, and economics, in 1997 the site was taken off line, no longer exists.
Later on , I decided to start another, main reason was to have a site where I could keep friends, family and anyone else interested up-to-date , as to where I was and what I was doing, etc.
As a craftsman /artist also a website was useful to show my work to the public.

Well, for one thing they can talk. They have lot's of character, but other birds do also have character.
I have other birds as well, a whole bunch of "Zanates", they are also known as
Great-tailed grackle They have their nests in a tree in the backyard,
Also some doves, and then there was my geese,... But any way the main thing about the parrots is the way they talk, and it is not all ways just "mimicking" or copying, sometimes they say some really amazing things.
Also the wide range of colours , makes them different.
They are possessive, and also manipulative , they all ways want to be the boss. Parrots seem to be more curious and even attracted to humans, where as most other birds try to avoid us. The Zanates are similar in this way as well.
I think it would be interesting to have some Penguins as well, but the climate here would not be suitable.
