Jason Flemyng has joined the cast of X-Men: First Class.
The Clash of the Titans and Kick-Ass actor will play Azazel, a teleporting creature who tries to impregnate human women, in the Matthew Vaughn-directed action adventure.
He told Empire: "Matthew showed me my costume just the other day. Now I swore I'd never be in heavy make-up again, but this role is going to involve it.
"But at least they said, 'Don't worry, we'll add the tail in post-production.' "
He also confirmed his character would be red in colour.
Jason joins an all star cast for the movie, including James McAvoy, Nicholas Hoult, Alice Eve, Michael Fassbender and Kevin Bacon.
Meanwhile, Rose Byrne is in final negotiations to play Moira MacTaggert in the film, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The Damages star would take the role of the Scottish scientist and genetic mutation expert over Rosamund Pike, who had been rumoured to be playing the character.
The movie begins shooting soon, ahead of a June 2011 release.
