What's the most amount of forums you've owned all at the same time?

Most amount of forums I have owned at one time were 3 at one point when I took gaming and TV and movies away from my general chat forum and tried to create separate forums for those. It got a little too much though so I ended up moving things back with my general chat forum and left if at that.

I now own one forum and co-own another one with @Smokey as well and with my other work as well that is more than enough for me 🙂

I believe the most I've owned at one time is three. Right now I own three, and a blog. I think I'm good for a while now. 😛

Used to be two years ago 😉 Even that I only really run one mostly. But now it's just the one

I’ve never had more than one at a time however I do have a couple of other ideas I want to develop in the future, once my current one has grown a lot more.

Years ago I ran gaming servers along with comms packages and forums. I don't really recall how many forums we had running at any one time but it was a lot, probably more than 25. I currently have 4 active forums, soon to become 3 due to an impending merge.

At one point, I had like 7 forums/websites at a time. Right now, I am managing 5. 2 of them is like the front end of another thing.

DestroyRepeat.com has a Blog and a Forum.
PS5Daily and PS5Forum are two separate websites, but I treat it as one because of cohesion.

My strategy is I give a website one year to impress me. If I don't see growth after a year, then I merge that forum or blog into another. And redirect. Once the renewal is up. I don't renew, and let the domain go.

I will give some domains chances. Like PS5Daily has traffic, but I love the name so much I am proud to market it.

I think you win with the most?

No more than one. Of course that doesn’t count for the amount (5+) that I have moderated for, but just one for owning wise.

Way too many, LOL, so many that I became very quickly overwhelmed.

Nowadays, I have two. I'm going to stick with that number.

Two is enough for me 🙂

4 was the most at once but they all had the same name, just on different platforms. Basically called it the 'Funjoint Network'. All were doing pretty well, some members on multiple forums and the different platforms brought in new members.

Focusing on one or two forums is okay as long as you keep being active on them. If one wishes to have more forums, then they should be ready to hire one who can help manage those communities.

When my daughter was born in 2014, I owned 20 forums. Had to sell/close them and focus on my web design / SEO work, since it was impossible to care for a baby and also run all these communities.

Most amount of forums I owned at a time was 3, a lifestyle forum, business and finance forum, and mental health forum
