Most Overplayed Songs?

What songs are being overplayed to death right now, whether on the radio or TV? A couple come to mind, for me.

Take Me to Church - Hozier
Sail - AWOLNATION (this song isn't even that new haha)
Sugar - Maroon 5

I don't personally listen to the radio, but it's always on at my work and I swear, I hear one of the songs every single day.

I'm just going to have to go with your list, to be honest. Although I haven't heard AWOLNATION play on the radio for a very long time.

Also like to add...

Nirvana - They play the same songs over and over again.
Metallica - Again, they play only a few songs by them over and over again.
Alt-J - I love this band, but they play the same two songs way too often.
 
I haven't listened to the radio for maybe six months, but back then Animals (Martin Garrix) used to absolutely dominate the radio 😛
 
All about that Bass is the only one I think is overused, I don't hear Church or any others for a while, I am lucky if I hear it on the radio. Lol
 
Right now, the only thing I can think of, is 2 songs from the movie Frozen. Love Is An Open Door, and Let it Go.
 
All About That Bass is so overplayed. Taylor Swift in general is way overplayed. Uptown Funk is overplayed, but at least is a good song. Happy was overplayed as well.
 
I don't listen to the radio that much anymore. But a few years ago, before my step-dad past away I was staying the weekend at my respite-care provider's home in another town, and I was listening to...it was either Kidz Only or that Y2K station on Music Choice, and it seemed like every hour, on the hour, they were constantly playing "Bye, Bye, Bye" by *NSYNC. Now, I like *NSYNC, and I love that song, but playing it every hour on the hour was just overkill. People just don't seem to know when enough is enough sometimes.
 
Happy by Pharrell Williams. I hear this song on the radio all the time. If I'm in the car for more than 20 minutes, I'm almost guaranteed to hear it come through on one of the three stations I regularly listen to. It has really started to get on my nerves lately.
 
Nirvana - Smells like teen spirit is overplayed imo. I'm not a really a fan of theirs to be honest. Although they do have better songs, this one is overplayed for what it is.

If I look at it in more of a mainstream way. I'd say songs like uptown funk, blurred lines and happy.
 
"Everything is Awesome"

Every time I hear this one, the cynic in me screams "NO! Everything is NOT awesome!" 😀 😛

I hear this song everywhere and I don't like it that much 😛
