Most stupid ebay item ever. /:

Well it may be worth a ton of cash in the future. The idea is stupid but if you think deeply think about the money!

Looks riveting whatever it is. I wouldn't know, link won't load for me..

Why would some one want to buy a one pound coin
Has that got a nut loose

Umm... I dont think it is lame... There are many coin collectors that may want it. Now, an XBOX 360 Slim? No, he will not even come near that by just selling this.

Would look nice in a frame above my toilet 😀

Anywho looking at it, it is ashame he has such a poor quality picture. In order for a coin to be worth anything at all it needs to:

Not be faked
Be of old age and preferably not in circulation for a long time
Be in good shape
Have good etchings

From what I can see, it looks like an American Quarter and I wouldn't pay a dime for it. If he is trying to get an Xbox, he is outta luck. A coin collector may pay 25 dollars for it tops

Q: Wouldn't your money be put to better use on some English lessons rather than a toy?
A: No, I don't care about my English, I just want a xbox.

Oh dear.

Isn't that against eBay ToS anyway? I guess foreign people would find British money amusing. 😛

I don't get why someone is paying over £1 for a £1 coin.
You can get them so easy.

There was someone's soul going at trademe.co.nz a few months ago until they got their listing removed. Now that is the most stupidest listing on an auction site.

That does sound like a bizarre idea, but who knows, one of these years those kinds of things could go out of print, so really if you take care of it enough, it's value could probably increase as time goes on and if you ever wanted to sell it you'd probably get more money for it. Although I do agree to an extent that someone would try to sell money in any shape or form on Ebay. If this was like a rare coin or something, then yeah, I can see that being a bad idea, but still...
