While I find it easy to review other people's websites and forums, I severely struggle to figure out what people may be thinking when they see mine. Any criticism would be useful, and please - be honest.
 
It's okay. But try reviewing some new movies like Avatar or Sherlock Holmes.
 
Oh! Didn't see that. Just saw the reviews in the homepage. Sorry. Good site. Try creating a forum for movie discussions.
 
All feedback is much appreciated. I've made some changes in the past week.
 
You sure like watching old movies, that's for sure. Nice blog. Keep it up.
 
I wouldnt add a forum and keep reviewing movies old and new the more the merrier. :lol: Also i like the design and layout of Movie Estate.

Adding a forum is a great idea and love the design too.
 
Great site! Very, very, very good content. Makes a good read every couple weeks. 🙂

  • I'm loving the sites design.
  • Your site is really organized.
  • Having a favicon helps allot.

Dislikes:

  • Why don't you have a forum for all of the people who read the reviews have a place to discuss things amongst eachother.
 
I've had a forum suggested numerous times, and I've got a few reasons why I don't want to put one in.

1. Where would I put the link?
2. I've run forums in the past, and getting it all set up - in terms of permissions, skin etc. - is all very tiring and tedious work.
3. I don't get online enough during the week to keep a forum active.
4. The comments system.

Thanks for your feedback, though. While I don't want to add one, I'm considering it.

1) Possibly under 'Review Information'?

2) Well, I know people hate it, but you could use ProBoards. You'd just need to make the categories, boards, and skin (if you want a skin on the forum).

3) Don't you have someone who you could have help run the forum?

4) Comments system?

In regards to 3: Nope. Movie Estate is an individual project.

Can anybody else offer feedback?
 
I actually really like the site. Its clean, professional and easy to go by. I would suggest some sort of php portfolio page for easy navigation.
