Well unless your prepared to pay money for the free forum provider to provide you with a back-up of your forum, i suggest that you get some free web space and install phpbb 3 yourself. Then if your forum gets bigger move it then. The only problem with this is that unless you know how to install MOD's and such and no how to fix something if it breaks, it will become a huge pain in the ass.
Why wait for it to get big? You can get hosting dirt cheap nowadays. If you have an couple dollars per month you can get a cpanel and all the other goodies that come with paid hosting. 😀
