Moving House

Have you ever moved house? Was it close or far ways from where you used to live?

The furthest I've moved house was only around 13 miles away from the previous. Funny thing was I had packed all my shoes into the van and was going by bus to the new home and only had my slippers to wear. :lol:

I've moved only twice in my life. This is as a kid growing up.

The first was from west to east which was a distance of 2,500 miles and the second was a 5 mile move from north to south. :lol:

When I was 6 we moved to Poland, Europe. Then we came back when I was 8. So I've moved quite a lot.

I've moved 4 times, but only remember 3 (first time I moved I was only a year old). The second time we only moved a few miles, the third time it took 7 hours in a truck and the last time I moved I ran away from home with just a bag with some clothes in from Lincolnshire to Manchester, not a clue on miles but it takes about 2.5 hours to drive here from my mums.

Well maybe that is an exaggeration but Ive lived a lot of places.

Many, many times. Most of them from country to country, considering my parents work for the Foreign Service.

Just got approved to rent a house. This place is only $75 more than I pay now and its a real house. Not a crappy old duplex like I live in now. Its a nice size. About 1200 square feet. The place I live in now is probably 600. It has a nice size back yard and front yard. Its all updated and redone on the inside. Going to sign the paper work on Saturday and get they keys.
