Some people say moving to a new house is one of the most stressful experiences a person can have. Do you agree?

Tell us about your most stressful moves? Smoothest ones?

They're definitely super stressful, but probably not the most stressful thing in life. Granted, at this point I've moved houses more times than I care to remember, so I'm just sort of used to it.

Moving from house to house is deformation very stressful as you working double time with so many things going around. Not just boxing your gear up. I myself moved around 12 times in my life and just the people like the solicitors or those that you buying from can be just as raging. Not all things go that smoothly and so when buying and selling you always going to hit a brick wall at times.

  1. That day when you say let's sell up and so start cleaning and decorating as much as you can.
  2. Have more than one real estate to give you their input and by doing that you can pick who you want to go with. Prive and selling cost
  3. Once on the market, you spend time looking for another place to live and viewing the homes. Make an offer once found
  4. Meantime you look after the house that you are in and let people view it.. till they make an offer and you pass or agree
  5. Once the deal is done, waiting game time, all solicitors do their job, you have to ask and answer all things and at times the plug can be pulled so many times that you end up putting it back on the market or the CRAZY laws stop solicitors from moving forward till other things are in place.
I had many times that people pulled the plug, had people that are so fussy that we ended up screaming or messing around getting information when the driveway was dropped even though that was built as it was 50 years ago and yet we all know what solicitors can be like. You pay far amount to real estate and solicitors and they like there Monday holidays off.

When we bought our second house, it was a couple blocks away, so the move wasn't that bad. But when we moved 12 hours away, that was stressful and the company my husband works for hired movers to pack us and move us. They ruined things and that was no fun. The last move was from the apartment we moved to into the house we live in now. I did most of that moving except for a few items that were too large for me. I hired a couple guys for that who were reliable.

My sister lived in Texas and we moved her to West Virginia in a U-Haul. I'd say it's more of an annoyance than stressful, just lifting constantly and trying to position everything in the truck just right so it doesn't end up a disaster when you arrive at your destination.

When my brother helped me move. My brother is so frustrating to work with. He makes everything way more difficult than it needs to be. He is a drama queen, complainer .... and my stuff ALWAYS ends up scratched or broken when he helps. Last time I moved I enlisted some different people and was smooth sailing the whole time.

Smoothest ones?

When my brother didn't help me move.
