I am using forumotion.. and i want to move host.. since forumotion do not give out database.. so is there any way? I know a way.. but it will take time.. copying the post with the members help and staff? onto the new hosting forum..

Wow. "its illegal" and then "what way".

Obviously Nathan isn't just going to spurt it out for all to see, and then a little science experiment will begin. I can assure you the way I assume Nathan will suggest may land you in a whole lot of trouble, as in a hefty, lets say 10,000$ fine.

There are ways but it doesn't always work and usually create some sort of problem down the line. Best to start again.

Fowler is right. Your stats might decrease but eventually they'll rise up.

This way you can figure out who's active and who's there just for post exchanges. It's either that or stick with your host.

It doesn't matter really how many members/posts you have, the method used (which isn't legal) doesn't give you a proper full backup which can mean inconsistencies in the database. 1 little thing missing can cause massive problems.

From the free hosts list.. to you what is the best there?

EDIT: Thanks for the list anyway!

Get your own host and domain, its the best way to make sure you can move around, and be in full control.

Sitefrost, however, they are down at the moment which is why Webverts is down. 😉
