Moving to phpBB

I have a forum on Forumotion and our members want to move to phpBB. Do you think that it is a good idea? Do you think we should move? What advantages will we have? I want to hear your opinions. :cheer:

Can you move a forum off Forumotion

I suppose the database will have to be taken out by force (using crawlers and such). If you're moving to phpBB I think there won't be too many differences, and it's actually easier to sort things with Forumotion's ACP than phpBB's ACP. For example, for cash/shop option it's already built in and easy to use. But it depends on each admin, though.
