Do you mow your grass with a push mower or a ridding lawn mower?

We use a push mower because that's all we have. It's pretty rough considering our front and back yard is pretty big and both of my parents are old so we all end up having to take turns. 😛

I wish we could get a riding lawn mower but they are so expensive. 😛

When I was doing a side job, I used a riding lawn mower and boy are they fun and tricky at the same time. 😛

She had tree's everywhere and trying to go around the tree's just so with a riding lawn mower is harder than it looks. I have no idea how many things I ran over or rather ran into when I was first using a riding lawn mower. xD

However I would rather use a riding lawn mower than a push one, my dad had this old fashioned push mower with no motor, and that was better than using the new ones. I hate the sound of things and the vibrations and the spinning blades knowing you if hit a rock you could potentially shoot it at someone and ugh. The old fashioned push mowers were a whole lot easier. 😛

My family doesn't mow our grass. We don't even own a lawn mower. My parents pay someone to bring their equipment and mow the lawn. 😛

Well aren't you just fancy. You're so lucky.

I always use a push mower. I'm too cheap to buy a riding lawn mower, and I really do not cut my yard much. 😛

We have a self-propelling push lawnmower, so that is definitely better than having to push it, all I have to do is squeeze the blade handle and push down the lever to start the blade, and then pick a speed, and squeeze the other handle for it to move. Then all I have to do is guide it. 😀

We hold down the handle on ours but we have to push it, it doesn't move by itself. 😛

I've never heard of such mowers. 😵

So it's like a push mower and a riding mower hybrid almost?

Self-Propelled Push Mowers are not hybrids really, other than the fact that they are designed to keep the engine running when you are not holding down any handles. That part i like, other than the fact that it is a gas guzzler when I am empty the bag. 😛

I don't have to mow the lawn here. I live in a town house. When I did mow the lawn when I was in a house I used a push mower. It's a good work out. :]

We have too much yard in the front and back so we have a company mow it for us.

I'm actually allergic to like fresh cut grass, I've fainted once because of lack of air and messed up a side of my face on the concrete before. But my dad mows a push=mower. I love the ones you can ride on, they are just generally fun. 😛

Back in Texas I used to mow my own yard. I borrowed my uncle's for over a year before he got a house that he needed it for so I had to buy my own. I was so glad I did because I ended up getting one of those self propelling ones which made mowing so much easier! 😉

Oh, ouchie. At least it gives you an excuse to skip on mowing the lawn.

I mow my yard with a push mower. I haven't seen the need for a riding lawnmower yet. I like the exercise for now that you get by pushing. I usually mow every 1 1/2 weeks, sometimes sooner if the prior week was unusually rainy and the grass grew quicker.
