This is probably already fairly well-known around here, but Mozilla is a great educational resource for anything to do with building websites, using JavaScript, etc. It even goes into security a bit.

It is one of those rare really nice places which is both useful to newbies and veterans.

MDN is the best resource for web dev imo, in conjunction with W3 docs.

Although I use W3Schools more often, I still use MDN. I especially love that it's made by Mozilla.
