Do any of you listen to music while you study or do homework? Does it distract you?

Yep! Doesn't distract me either. Usually listening to music is my alternative to listening to a podcast, or something like that. Usually when I study and listen to a podcast or audio book, the studying distracts more from the podcast than the other way around. 😛

Yes, I love the morning with music and work. But it shouldn't last more than 10 songs. I just can listen about 5 - 7 songs and stop.

I couldn't really listen to music and study. So I had to do it in quiet.

Yeah, although while studying I mostly listen to solo piano recordings.

While working anything goes, usually just put on an umphrey's or phish show unless I want to check out some new album.

I listen to music all the time. When I'm doing web design for some reason I like dubstep 😛

I can only handle classical music (or anything that just instrumental only) when I was doing homework. Anything that involves someone singing, that is too much of a distraction for me. So it depends on what kind of music it is.

It has to be dead quiet when I'm reading or studying. Otherwise I cannot focus.

I can't listen to music when I'm trying to do anything productive. Even if it doesn't have words, I get way too easily distracted. 😛

heh, I often can't get anything done if I'm not listening to music!

I tried once however usually when I am listening to music I am dancing around and singing in my head, it's more of a distraction than anything else.

I usually like to anime soundtracks when I study. Words are distracting.
