Music Forums, along with an idea.

We see quite a few around in the Net. But is there any that really caters to the more Underground/Unheard Music artists? Aside from the ones that focus on one particular thing anyway. I have been however thinking of doing such a site that wouldn't just focus on one aspect of the Underground scene. Wouldn't do it on Proboards though.

If you have to go with a free host I would go with ipbfree.

A free host would be ideal. Since I don't have access to paying for stuff online. Is IPBFree good?

Even some free hosts are miles better than IPBfree. I would suggest getting a real, but free, host instead of a free forum host, then using a forum software (MyBB, SMF).

I apologize for the double post. But I've decided to go with an Invision Free board. Now I just need to find someone familiar with that host and can help with the graphics part.

MyBB or PhpBB woold be good as they have some music mods lying about like radio, playlist, etc.

Sounds like a good idea that your mixing these but if you were to search around the net you'd probably find a forum for it but I would dare say that you give it a try, do it for the sake of unheard artists. Good luck.

This sounds like a great idea as i have new and old artists on my site on my site and my mate is giving me alot of underground stuff and unone artists shortly to add to the site.......

Hey good idea man, be sure to have a section for underground bands to advertise their gigs and things like that, give them a reason to join 🙂.
