I was listening to some Led Zeppelin the other day and a thought occurred to me that today's music doesn't have that extra instrumental voice like music from the past. What I mean by this is that the instruments weren't just used as back up, they actually were a separate voice with their own part that added to the song. Do you know what I mean? Do you like music like that?

Do you like music like that?

I sure do! I really liked Badfinger.

Badfinger could have been huge. What’s more, the band’s connections with The Beatles once earned them the tag of ‘the new Fab Four’. But instead, despite writing and recording some wonderfully memorable music, Badfinger went down in the annals of rock history for all the wrong reasons. Most people who remember the band today will probably point to the fact that two key members committed suicide.

I absolutely know what you mean as I grew up in the 60s/70s and my favourite Led Zeppelin track was Stairway to Heaven. There are few artists today that can play guitar with such skill. Hendrix could make his guitar talk, it's tragic he died at such a young age as he had so much more to give.

I love listening to music by trending artists of our time and do not find such music that you are talking about interesting at all, they are boring to me and do not meet up with our world's standard of music Today.

I do like music from the 80s and 90s

This is my favorite album that I found at a yard sale and bought it for $2

I lean towards 80s style of music. But I do know what you are talking about. Music was so much different back then that it is now.
