YOURS. How much music does it contain?

My iTunes library has over 13,000 songs. 😛 eBay lots have done wonders for me.

73 at the moment (all Michael W. Smith) but that's expected to change this weekend or sometime over the course of next weekend, because I ordered 4 more of his albums on Amazon.com. But at the moment it's 73 songs.

Only 1750, was around 3,500 around a year ago though.

What quality are those songs? I can't imagine holding 12,000 FLACs on my computer 😛

My songs are nearly always gotten off the CD through the MP3 format. And I mean MP3, not MP4. Sound quality is usually really good, almost like you're listening to the CD. Course, I think it all depends on what sort of Media Player you use on your PC, though. Because I've been using Media Monkey lately, but I find no sound difference between MM and WMP.

I mean the bitrate. Most songs I have are usually v0 mp3 VBR, which averages to about 250 or something along those lines. I've got some FLAC files but generally stopped with that as they take too much space for me ATM.

Well, I'm not sure if this is quite what you have in mind, but I normally rip my songs at 128 KBPS. On MP3 Players with lower GB levels, if I wanted to add a lot of songs, I would start at 128 but then when I started running out of room, I would do, I think 32 KBPS is the lowest it can go. But now that I have an 8 GB MP3 Player, instead of a 1 or 2 GB Player, I can squeeze as many songs as I want and still have room for more, even when ripping the CD in the highest sound quality.

10,158 songs (80GB) in iTunes, and a ton of live music in FLAC (probably around 800GB or so). Most of the iTunes music is in 320.
