Mostly because Icyboards hosts MyBB which has better support, and allows database exports which Forumotion refuses to do.
 
What kind of issues? They're doing repairs on the server/host thingy at random times, so if the site's not loading, that's probably the issue.
 
Yea, it wasn't loading. Seems to be fine now.

Signed up as Fullmoon, but I can't access my email at work so I'll have to activate it tonight.
 
On our new forum we have 6000 posts and 24 members, we're doing pretty good so far.

Yeah, we switched to a MyBB host mostly because we can now export the database if we decide to switch again (which Forumotion refuses to do). We had to start from scratch, so our post count technically should be double what we have now 😛
