I like MVPXC because it looks a little more appealing to the eye at first sight.

I'd still change some design elements, for example the blue search blends in far too much with the blue behind it in my opinion, but the forum has a more open feel.

I think I'd have to vote for MvPxC, it is appealing at first, and has a nice mixture of color. It's simplistic and the logo is nice.
