Please rate the current forum layout (1 - 10) & and ways for me to improve.
Upon visiting MvPxC for the first time, I would rate the forum layout a 7 or an 8. The first thing I want to discuss is the forum boards. Although I generally advise people not to have a lot of boards when opening up a forum, I can see that your content is spread out nicely within all of the boards. I personally think that you could merge "Gaming Series" with "Gaming Center", and then put all of your listed games under that board. The reason I suggest to merge them is because I do not see the point in having two different "gaming" areas. Moving on to a different part of the layout will be navigation. The navigation is not too cluttered and is helpful when wanting to find a specific area fast. I suggest possibly creating a "Consoles" drop down and then placing Xbox & PlayStation tabs inside of there. Overall your forum layout is professional, and it is well organized.
How is the professionalism of the site?
This is one of the most important areas when owning a website/and or forum. Professionalism includes appearance, content, etc. I would have to say that this area of your forum/website is excellent. Your current theme is very appealing and professional. After looking at a few posts by yourself and other staff members, they have little to no spelling and grammatical errors. Other then a few topics most of your announcements and other important topics are detailed nicely and look professional.
What is something that should be fixed?
I have to say that I do not see many things that need to be fixed. One thing that I would defiantly look into fixing is the Search bar. I personally think that it looks strange with the text box, and all 3 buttons being different colors. I suggest picking one of those three colors and use them for all of the buttons. Lastly, I suggest moving the "Community" drop down to the front of the navigation menu by "Forums" and merging "Donate" under that tab.
