Bad idea. You get better results if you have it posted on the internet, and publish to it daily so the search engines and pinged services can see it.

Search engines like content every single day. Golden rule of SEO...always feed the spider!

But its bad seeing a blog with one post in my opinion people will visit it and then leave if they see alot of information they may bookmark it and look at it again .
