Your Quick Review
Forum Pros:
• The skin of AEF is nice. It’s simple and functional, which is what any professional forum should aim for. A lot of people don’t know about that software so even though it’s the default skin, people should be impressed by it. All the images and stuff are good in it.
• Your forum doesn’t have all kinds of off-topic stuff. It sticks to the promotion theme and doesn’t deviate. I like that. I don’t like it when forums go off from their original subject.
• Your forum has excellent grammar in the board descriptions. That’s one of the main things on forums that admins mess up but yours was fine. Good job on that. No errors were really noticeable.
Forum Cons:
• Your forum is like completely default. The default skin is fine, but you’ve got to change that banner. If there’s one thing that shouts, “Newbie!” to people when looking at a forum, it’s having the style exactly as it came.
• Saying, “It's all private: no members can see, just you as guests! “ is deceptive. Anyone could just log out and see the forum, and so there is absolutely no privacy whatsoever.
• Your forum is very run-of-the-mill. Every promotion forum seems to have the exact same stuff that yours has. What is going to make people advertise at your forum versus others? You need to have something original.
• You don’t seem to have enough staff to provide for the services you have. If you’re gonna have any activity, you’re gonna need a dedicated staff team. Most of your services are offline are coming soon, which isn’t really encouraging.
• You should have some sort of point system or something in place. For example, on the Review service, it’s a 10 post requirement and that’s it. What’s to stop someone from just ordering over and over again? If there’s a point system for AEF, I suggest you get it.
Final/General Thoughts: Your forum is very new, and the problem is that it shows.
