Hi,...I have never done a mod before and would really appreciate it if someone could help me out on this. I have done some reading and I just do not have enough experience to do this. I would like to add the mini chat feature on my forum to help bring more interest to my site. Those on phpbb.com have not been very helpful in this case. As far as mods go I have been able to change styles and add emoticons and that's it. Any help would be great. ....Matt....

I already did,...like you said,... not much help. And it seems nobody can remember what it was like being a rookie and needing help. Thank you anyway ๐Ÿ˜ณ

Hi. ๐Ÿ™‚ I had the same trouble when I tried to install one. I found a easier one called 'ACP Add User' and was able to follow the instructions. Now the MODs are easier to install. It's best to do a test mod installation first with a few simple edits or a simple upload.

I would do it for you but I've had a issue with that mod before.

The people over at phpbb.com are very helpful. You just need to make sure you ask the right questions, and make sure they are in the correct forum/topic. Asking someone else to install the mod for you will almost always yield bad results. Where are you getting stumped on the mod installation instructions?

Actually the phpBB support team don't give support on mod related issues, therefore are useless in this cause ๐Ÿ˜‰

Nathan you might need to read over my post again. No where did I mention the phpbb support team. I clearly said the people over at phpbb, and posting in the correct forum/topic. ๐Ÿ˜‰

True, but when referring to phpbb.com, one would get the first people who come to mind, the staff ๐Ÿ˜‰
