Previously my forum was hosted on a cloud server but I've finished integration so it wI'll add servers as needed and has a separate database server (also autoscales). I'm still using my CDN and CloudFlare but now I can handle the load no matter how many people join my forum (i.e. It goes viral). What are your thoughts on running forums in the cloud?
If you can overcome any errors that you may encounter along the way, then this is a very good move. Because as you said, you are now able to cater for a practically unlimited potential, since 'cloud' servers can easily be expanded.
I honestly came here, expecting to find idiots believing that 'cloud' hosting is in the cloud.
