So I’ve had yet another GP visit today, I am currently diabetes type 2 and have eczema on fingers. I put cortisone cream and Aveeno on fingers. I take twice daily a pill for high blood pressure. But I’m not suicidal because it’s been taking care of. When I’m suicidal or depressed, it often is because of a physical health issue that I can’t solve by myself. Thus, I freeze and think about suicide. But what I’m proud of, is that I have not even thought of it, just taken it as normal news as a mature adult should.

You actually might be able to, with the right information. Type 2 Diabetes is completely reversible with a keto, ketovore, or carnivore diet. Myriads of people have lowered their A1C into the normal range and got off their medications and insulin. This would likely lower your blood pressure and and help with your depression (and maybe your eczema, depending on the cause which is often diet related).

My blood pressure meds were needed just to keep me under 140/90. Now I average 120/75 most days, give or take. I'm down almost 50 pounds, no longer depressed, reversed hypertension and ulcerative colitis. I know from personal experience that this can work, and I know many in the keto/carnivore community who are also doing great.

Just something to think about.

My wife has diabetes. It's a horrible disease. I hope my young son don't get it. My cousin even went blind and died in his 40s cause of it.

I'm glad you got the suicidal impulses under control 🙂

Sorry to hear @Naiwen. Diabetes is a tough illness to deal with. My brother suffers from it and its not fun for him at all. Hoping you're able to manage effectively.
