the site is too slow to load and the huge text upfront is a real put-off.

the waiting time of nearly 1 minute for the site to fully load in my opinion is enough for a normal user to close the window.

Yeah, I am searching for a new host that is a little faster than Hawkhost. Quite unsatisfied with their speed to be honest.

I've found that hosting with godaddy is pretty good. So is hostgator.

Site is slow and broken on a mobile device. Your portfolio contains dummy website mockups and everything looks very generic..

Which mobile device are you using, as it is just working fine on both my iPhone and iPad. So far I have convinced more clients by using website mockups, they simply make the icing of the cake in my opinion. 😀
