Is it an effective design? Suggestions? Problems?

Note: The bottom one is supposed to be the back. It will have the same texture and color as the front.

I don't think having the names of Social Networks at the bottom will really do much. And personally, business cards shouldn't be a big part of the fund, but end up being that usually. Even for plain black and white ones. So having something like this will only be effective if you have the extra money to spend on printing.

The design is nice however!

This would only be a limited batch and wouldn't be passed out at random. The majority of cards would have a basic, solid color, but essentially the same composition. I was also thinking of using it as an e-business card as well.

Well, I was hoping people would pick up on the fact that my username for all of my social networking accounts is "p8i". Guess that part isn't so effective. I'll continue thinking of ways to get that point across.

Thank you.

I disagree with you.

When i want to find something about someone or a company i try and find them on facebook or twitter. When i am trying to find out more about a company I will vist LinkedIN.

I wouldn't change a thing but one thing. The text that's under justin cox Make it a little bigger not much just a little

I'd always just leave that off personally and just make sure your websites link is the center peice of this whole thing, and have links on your website to your social networks! It frees up space for maybe a short description or a special, or anything you can fit!

Alright, I'll bump it up a pixel or two. And thanks for stating your opinion on the social network text.

have you ever lived in alaska?

I don't know if it's different in the US or Canada (wherever the OP is from), but those "business cards" are proportionally incorrect in Australia. I'm sure there is some international size for business cards, but at the moment, they just look weird in that sense.

They're different depending on where you are. The US and Canada use 3.5x2 inches.

But the sizes are pretty much the same, those dimensions are off. Then again, I don't know where he's from.

Again I'm not sure of the "personified" bit, it means to represent in the human form, is that what you are really trying to get across.

Plus the information on a business card should be the basics, a contact number and web address is sufficient, you don't need an essay on the back.

Also stick to basic colours.
