So, I have a bone spur on my right shoulder.

If you do not know what a bone spur is, it is a bone growth that occurs usually when a bone was injured in some way, like from overuse of a joint, actual damage to the bone, or other such stuff like that.

So, on Tuesday I will be getting my right shoulder scoped, and the bone spur removed. After removing it, they will be grinding my shoulder down, to prevent any future growths from happening on the shoulder.

Should be a fun recovery.

Easy peasy. You make it sound too hard lol. 3 or 4 little arthroscopic incisions. It's all done by camera. You'll mostly recover in a day, be in a splint for a week, and be good after that. Bone spurs can be natural as well.

Good luck on the surgery!

I was making it sound hard? What? Didn't type anything other than a little information regarding what a bone spur was, so I do not know how I am making it sound hard? 😛

Anyways, thanks.

I hope it is a simple and fast recovery as Rebel said. 🙂

I still have a day, but I hope it won't be too bad of a recovery when I get out of surgery.

God that sounds like a horrible procedure, grinding the bone away. Good luck 🙂

Got it done today, and for some odd reason the first nurse decided to keep me there longer than normal, and eventually got discharged after complaining that I was good enough to be able to leave.

I didn't really get lunch after my surgery also. So I went from dinner yesterday, to dinner today without any food, which was eventually brought to me for dinner.

The good thing about the surgery, is that I will soon get a fully functional shoulder because of it, 🙂

To update everyone, I now do not have to wear a sling while I am at home, so I can do some stuff. So when I go out, depending on whether or not I am in a crowd, depends on whether or not I need to wear the sling.
