Is that League Gothic you're using? It's a nice font, so don't ruin it by overusing it. 😛

Much better than your original design in terms of most stylistic choices, but en general, when going for the kinda 'unstructured' look, the site has to make absolutely perfect sense to the viewer. This layout doesn't 'click' immediately.
