That is annoying I have to admit. I've been contemplating closing off the RPG section until we get 150 members, but I still haven't decided. Thanks for the feedback!
I like your community but have to agree that it looks kinda empty, maybe its better to merge a few forums or make some of them sub-forums to others.. Its all a good thought though!
Well the RPG forum is still under development, but apart from that the only forum that has no posts is the Drama forum, which I'm going to get rid of shortly.
Apart from that we have a fair bit of activity. The only thing that's hindering us is the lack of members, and I'm sure more people will join once all of the schools are on holidays.
Actually the most active part of the forum (the Fiction and poetry and Song forums) aren't open for guests to read because of copyright issues so maybe that's what leads to people thinking that the place is empty. I will merge a few forums such as the art forums because they are quite low on activity.
We also have a Mature Discussion forum which is quite active, but guests can't view it as well.
So we are quite active actually. Just the parts that are safe for guests to view aren't 😀

I installed a few new skins, but all of them have their own downsides (I can't get the rep system to work with one, the rules don't show up in another).
Do you mean the ordering of the forums?
I'll make a request for a new banner once I get enough FP cash.
That Quick PM feature you've got, does it actually work?
I just tried it as a guest, and there weren't any messages telling me to log in. Might want to look out, as that could be attractive to PM spammers. You don't want your board to hae a reputation for PM spamming ~neutral~
