MyBB 1.6 announced

I can't wait! MyBB is awesome! 🙂 I hope all the themes still work with it.
 
It's most likley will, if not a new saga of themes will arive.
 
I hope one of those features is language creation... That would be excellent. Also, Facebook Connect and AdminCP-based plugin uploads wouldn't be so bad.
 
Looks good. New features are awesome too. Can't wait to switch my main forum to it!
 
As far as I'm aware of 1.4 is the newsest since 1.6 isn't released yet.
 
Well when you speak of 1.4.11 do you always add .11? or do you just call it 1.4?

1.4 is the release series, 1.4.11 is the stable/current release. They are two things. When somebody asks "How do I add a theme to MyBB 1.4?" it is the same as asking "How do I add a theme to MyBB 1.4.11?" However asking "How do I apply the security patch to MyBB 1.4?" and "How do I apply the security patch to MyBB 1.4.10?" are different questions.
 
I am not going to launch my MYBB forum for a month or more. Or might even wait for 1.6

You will be waiting awhile then. As they have not even released a beta yet.
 
It's supposed to come later this month, or early February. Anyways, I downloaded it via SVN, and installed it. It's pretty smexy.
