MyBB Advanced Profile

This plugin will allow you to get an IPB 2.3 like profile. It's still in Beta stages, so there may be a few bugs (I've experienced none so far).

This plugin is available from MyBBSource. If you want to get it, my personal recommendation is that you get it now as it will soon be made one of the paid mods (when the beta testing is complete of course).

Any of the MyBBSource profiles can act as a live demo. There are screenshots on the thread I linked to.

I dont see whats so advanced about it. Most of those features come standard on other softwares. 😛

The only difference is not the profile comments. There are many differences. Look at the screenie, then look at the basic profile.

You keep reiterating stuff we know already - and none of it is really relevant either.

VB is better than MyBB: Agreed.
MyBB's default profile sucks: Agreed.
VB's profile is better than the one in the mod: Agreed.

Honestly, this may be true but I think that the SMF layout is far to Myspace like. To take Kirsute Gomen's forum as an example LINK.

And then to compare it to LINK.

I prefer the MyBB one myself. (Just a personal choice) Simply because, I don't see the need for profile galleries and the like.
