MyBB.com hacked and defaced.

Well MyBB.com has gotten hacked and defaced... Makes you wonder...

Edit : I did abit of reading and it seems the hacker group that got ahold of the site is threating to release the database.

The hacker group is UGnazi and here is their statement on MyBB -

Well, that's rather pointless..

But in a way, helpful.. as MyBB can fix up those security risks in a update..

It was not the software itself that was hacked, as many tend to assume automatically. The owner of Mybb, Chris, domain registrar account was hacked which gave them access to redirect the domain to the page you all see. The do have access to the servers as well, but again it was a matter of getting his login information and not through MyBB the software.
