MyBB Custom Pages

I've done all the settings but the page won't show up. What am I doing wrong?

Providing such little information means no one can help.

Are you using a mod? What theme are you using? What version of MyBB are you using? What have you set the settings to?

It's the one on MyBB Source. The 1.6 version. It doesn't appear in page.php even though the settings are complete or going through to the actual url. Some permissions error.

The new plugin is. The old one is stuffed even though it's compatible for the latest MyBB.

It probably stuffed up due to you doing something wrong, otherwise they'd be no reason for it to stuff up.

I installed it by putting in the files and activating it. So how could it have been me? Even a dumb person could install a MyBB plugin.

Um..Did you say it was showing a permission error?

Did you check your user group permissions? Usually if it shows a permission error, it made a new setting in the user groups and you need to go in and give each group permission, Or it may even be in the mod setting it self.

There are permissions in the plugin itself. I couldn't even access the page through an admin account.

permissions might mean the plugin file via FTP. Log in to your FTP and locate the plugin file that you uploaded to the server, and modify the file permission as necessary. I don't know what the right numbers would be and I don't want to give you wrong information, but I hope someone can chime in that does.

It's not the external permissions. It's the internal MyBB permissions system.

Then it might be in the group settings, the page settings. The main admin account can't access something if it doesn't let it, even though its the admin if it doesn't have the permissions to that certain page/forum it won't access it.

Trust me if there was a problem with the mod you would not be the only one experiencing this issue and mybbsource would fix it asap not leave it unnoticed.
