MyBB Footer

Here is what I want to do:

I want to add a footer below my main board where I can put links and stuffs. I want it to be columnized to where I would have different sections like "Hot Links" or "Community Links" and so forth. I have done it on IPB, but I cannot find a good tutorial for MyBB. Any help?

If anyone can make one for me, I would be willing to offer $FP for a custom one.

I am trying this on my forum, however, it is only stretching to the width of the main container, which is 1024px. I want the footer to stretch all the way across the footer, kind of like the header is:

Like I said, it is only fitting to the container width, even set to 100% width. This is what I have right now:

Any way of getting around this?

If you are adding this to the footer template, be sure that it's outwith the container div. The container starts in the header and ends (</div>) in the footer. Make sure the footer code is outside the containers closing tags.
