MyBB Modifications

MyBB is a relatively popular option for forums (I mean it's free, is fairly powerful and has a pretty good plugin system for developers...) and is used by a fair number of sites.

So for those who use it... What are your favourite modifications? What are some you'd like to see created?

It was a long time since I used Mybb and I used 1.6 and I am aware that they have released 1.8. Back in the time, my favourite mod was the wysiwyg editor and also the advanced profile. However the advanced profile mod was quite buggy.

WYSIWYG is now standard on 1.8 (SCEditor specifically is the type). Though I'm not overly fond of wysiwyg editors, the source mode works like 1.6 does so that's good.

1.8 also has some features that were plugins on 1.6 included. Things like:
- Soft delete (sort of like a hide post/trash can mod).
- Admin CP pin (adding a code on top of the username and password needed to log in).
- Stopforumspam look ups.

Though they need to get plugins from 1.6 either converted to 1.8 or replaced with new versions for 1.8 since 1.8 doesn't have a very large selection of plugins yet.
(I know some people are holding off upgrading to 1.8 simply because MyAlerts isn't available for 1.8 yet.)
