Apparently their team screws around most of the time. That is why it takes so long to update but I do prefer phpbb over mybb. Its more editable from what I have experienced.Gamrpro said:I saw phpBB had a much huger staff team but its not about the size it's about the work they put in. I still don't understand why with such a huge team it's taking them so long to build they're forum software.
victory1 said:Definitely phpBB. Last October, I looked at both myBB & phpBB. Even played with both for about an hour each (by the way you, both give you that ability before download). A lot of people advised to go with myBB but for some reason I liked phpBB more so that's the one I went with. I don't know how easy it is to add modifications to myBB but phpBB can be slightly difficult if you are not at least a little technical. With that said, I'm happy with my choice and I 100% believed that I made the right one for me. You could also join their support community and ask a few questions. I did that with both eventhough I have not been back to myBB support board since I chose phpBB.

Yes, some of them do work but I have heard from two team members that they do slack around. I don't know how that is hardly fair.Bejay said:Agent24 said:"Gamrpro" wrote: I saw phpBB had a much huger staff team but its not about the size it's about the work they put in. That's hardly fair. :/ I've worked with several Team Members, Jnr. Team Members and I work with Translators continuously so I know people from all different levels of the team and they all work hard.
But I do agree phpBB is taking a little bit longer than it should to release patches and I think four RC's was to much but saying that they slack is hardly fair.
