The major problem with MyBB is that you cannot uninstall plugins in a good clean manner. For instance, if there was one bad plug-in, then it's very difficult to take it out without getting rid of files needed by other programs. However, a different design - like say, where the origination of the plugins has to originate totally in a separate folder on the main list (like on phpBB). For instance, in phpBB, the whole plugin is put under a folder with the name of the plugin and that's placed in the plugin section.
Good Way to do it:
Main area on cPanel (where forum is uploaded to) > General Plugin Folder > Bob's Plugin > the various folders that go under it.
