MyBB Profile Redsign

Any of you who use MyBB know how bland their profiles are. This guide here will help you edit the templates to greatly improve the layout of the profile: Profile Redesign Guide.

Some basic knowledge of XHTML and CSS will be helpful in implementing it, especially if you already have profile modifications installed.

I think that the only two things they have in common is that they both use a tabbed display. The tabbed display means that they use the space considerably more efficiently. I think that we both agree that that is a positive improvement...

A vB 3 mock I meant. vB4's profiles look similar to facebook.

I agree. I think it's a slight improvement over the normal profile layout for MyBB. 🙂 As for being a VB mock, nothing is 100% original in the forum software industry. Some people even say that VB4 itself is an IPB ripoff. Making the profile like that makes all of the information in the profile easier to sort through. Originality is something hard to come by these days.

EDIT: Actually, I guess it look good on the default theme instead of custom themes.

You'll have to meddle with the CSS and edit the hex codes for certain themes. It took me over an hour to do all of my themes.
