Mybb?

Ok I love the new mybb and all of the features, but has anyone really had the "Permissions ACP" problem?

Never used MyBB myself from an admin perspective. I am a phpBB3 fan.

I don't think so... I think there is only 1.8 out, aint been on the site for a while so don't know and yea, sound like a CHMOD error or are you in the ACP?

I isnt, I chmoded all of the files mybb said. It is a non security problem and I just need to whitelist my domain by contacting my host

I have used MyBB and hated it. The admin control panel just looked messy and it was complicated to use i thought.

I use Mybb because of the interfaces and the look. I am making a promotion forum using mybb. As I have yet to see a promotion forum using mybb

I did try it about 18 months ago so the acp might now be alot less messy and complicated now. It wasn't when i used it though.

Ok, I used to hate the old ACP on myBB, but on the most current release it's amazing. I've just moved from ZB and it's a huge improvement.

My opinion is that phpBB3 is established, but once MyBB attracts more developers it will succeed.
