Mybb1.6 to Phpbb 3

Im trying to move to phpbb but is there a converter for mybb 1.6 to Phpbb 3 ?

The mybb 1.4 to phpbb3 might work as there is not much cores edits.

Try that first .

Well to be honest, If you haven't got many posts and members i would just delete the forum and upload PHPBB 🙂.

We have basically 2000 Post and 67 members so...............

Can you give me the link to the converter and do you have to do it in Python?

Well best bet is go to www.mybb.com or www.phpbb.com and ask for help on converting.

Just to let you know though, PHPBB Support Forum is bad for support. All they do is say go to the Modification and get support there.

But if i was you i would go to www.mybb.com and tell them if there is a Tutorial on converting to PHPBB. It might be a big job though.

MyBB won't help users convert away from their software.

Also why should phpBB.com support other peoples modifications? Do Microsoft support every program that is made to run on Windows? It is common sense that they direct you to the modification support page or topic as the author knows more about the mod then the phpBB.com support team.

Actually Microsoft Support Forum do support every Windows Programs.
I have actually been there and been helping people.

We're not going to provide converters to convert away from us, are we.

Why are you asking here about something that MyBB has got absolutely nothing to do with?? Do you really expect us to give you support for a non-MyBB forum??

Well they helped me a long while a go.
MyBB should help you though, Using there software.

SMF help convert away from SMF to a different forum software.
So do VBulletin and IPB.
