MySQL or MySQLi

This is for people not on free forum hosts.

Do you use MySQL or MySQLi for your forum? FP used to use MySQL but recently we have started using MySQLi as i read good things about it and apparently it is slightly faster.

It has been around for a while... Most hosts have it installed (checking php info is an easy way to check). In phpBB3 it is simple to use as you just change MySQL to MySQLi in the config.php file.
