NameCheap Shared Hosting?

Does anyone have any experience with their hosting?

I personally believe that their monthly prices are ridiculously high. You may be getting a deal for your first year, but the renewal cost is quite expensive.

I have used namecheap for domains previously and can confirm that their support meets my expectations in terms of assistance and responsiveness.

Its not bad from what Ive been told. Their prices may be high but with hosting, you tend to get what you pay for. So the cheaper options tend to be unreliable and costly with downtime etc..

This may be true for starter hosts, but if a host has been around for several years and offer lower costs it is well worth it. Besides, the price difference isn't only a few dollars. Anyawys, that's my two cents on it 🙂

I never experience any downtime for the month being hosted with Namecheap. $9.88 for the first year is a good deal. 82 cents a month not bad! However, renewal for $38.88/year which is $3.24 a month. For a valued plan. Usually host charge $3.00 for a promo for buying a year and charge even more. I always used free hosting, but going to paid made it more reliable than hosting I am used to. Namecheap is popular for domain and i love their support! They will stay there for hours to help you out. Hopefully they don't go out of business anytime soon.
