Is namecheap any good. I am need of a domain for my friends games site with whois protection.

I've used NameCheap to purchase over 100 domain names.

They are excellent.

Okay Than I shall be using them to purchase domain from now!

Be sure to find some coupons if you go with them though.

I'd prefer them over Godaddy any day.

They are good. Cheaper .com domains there than GoDaddy. But Godaddy has cheaper .info's.

Never used them but they have good prices at 1st glance.

I use godaddy.. Thats only one Ive bought domains from.
Well no, I did buy one from a registrar (I cant seem to remember at the moment) a few years back but in comparison, godaddy is better.

Namecheap is what I use and have never had a problem with them. Control panel is easy to use unlike other registrars and they domains are cheap.

I have a bit over fifty domains with them. As of this month, I transferred my last two domains from GoDaddy. Sweet, sweet freedom : )

I prefer HostGator, but I've heard good things about NameCheap, so go for it mate!

😎

I've been using namecheap for a year now and I've had no problems with it. So I would recommend anyone using it.

I'd go with namecheap any day, especially with the free whois protection because a lot of domain providers charge for it.

Never had any problems with them, and I hope I never will.

I've never used NameCheap myself, but on the same hand, I've heard nothing but good things about them. One person on my forum bought a domain from them once, and he said that the control panel is a lot easier than that of GoDaddy.

Free only for the first year, and only for TLDs. Domains like .us don't have Whois protection at all.

So, I'll have to recommend that domain registrar for you, 😉

I use netfirms myself. They also have whois protection for .coms and .nets.
