It would still be accessible if it had links on the main forum it was in, like on the index page under the main forums description for example:

You have done it kind of differently as I expected, show only the Land forums such as Land of Fire, water etc, but have sub forums linked on index.

We do not use Canon Characters here, however, you can make similar characters. If you were hoping for a Bijuu, they are involved in the plot line, and those who joined from the start will most likely gain them at some point.
