Well, well, well!

Naruto RPG is going brilliantly strong especially in the first few months of the year where there aren't many exams to worry about!



We have dozens of updates - many from requests from members and others for convenience reasons. Let's have a look at what they are!



NEW CHAT RULES

- New rules for the chatroom that are strictly enforced. They stop swearing that is excessive, racist comments, provoking speeches and more. These were already in place before the rules were fully posted though!



NEW BANNERS

- Yes, you read that correctly. Banners. Not banner. Banners.
A random banner generator has been added to the site so you will see a fresh, new banner every time you refresh the page! The pictures are beautiful and vibrant so come along and see them!
(Does not work on some mobile devices)



NEW NRPG SITE

- Naruto RPG now has a hub site that is used for storing all the information of Naruto RPG in one place.

ACHIEVEMENT SYSTEM

- Coming soon! This will allow you to have your own thread in a section of the forum where you can gain graphic art for completing feats! You may show your graphics off in any way you want in your own thread!



NINJA WARRIOR

- Ninja Warrior has returned in full swing!! NW now has a grand total of 6 courses with 4 more planned. They are a great source for gaining AP and Ryo for your efforts and if you do something heroic, something brave... Daring... You just may get a reward!



CHUUNIN EXAMS

- The Chuunin Exams are well under way, at round 3! Three teams have made it past the Forest of Death and are now battling against each other! Comment on their furious fights and converse with other ninjas in the exam stands!

All riiiiiiiight, welcome to another issue of Naruto RPG's fabled newsletter! The great stuff, the blasts from the past and the brand new news is here for you to enjoy!

RULES:

Let's start with a couple of sweet rule recaps:-
- Academy Students start with 90 AP
- Genin start with 130 AP
- Chuunin start with 200 AP

You can make another Academy/Genin/Chuunin/Jounin account if your original account has the rank of the new account you wish to make.


A new rule has also been established:

- Basically, some restrictions on what you can have in order to level the playing field.
For example, you cannot have Red Secret: Performance of 100 puppets and Kirin at the same time. Choose your jutsu wisely!
You may not have more than 2 Legendary Weapons. You can sell ones you don't want at the Flea Market or seek a refund in your Character Stats topic.

Also please note:
- You cannot have canon clan elements such as Explosion Release and Sand unless you are in the clan/have the clan's bloodline for this element.

CHUNNIN EXAMS!

Right!
The Chuunin Exams have begun! Sign up now to guarantee your spot! (Please sign up before Exam 2 starts or we cannot guarantee you getting into the Forest of Death)

These exams will be run by LostLegend, and will (as a result!!) last about 2 months. He can only be on the weekend. :/

Note that alongside the Chuunin Exams, we have the Konoha Festival! This is an awesome place where you can take part in competitions alongside friends or against foes. You can win tickets for exchange against prizes!

CURRENT EVENTS:

Alex's Fury means Sunagakure has been reclaimed but it still needs rebuilding. At this point, anyone is welcome to be the new Kazekage. (It is believed a few people have their eyes set on this already!)

Naruto RPG Newsletter - Autumn/Winter 2011

With the return of LostLegend comes many fantastic updates!

CATEGORIES AND FORUMS
The categories and forums may be re-arranged by popular demand. For example, the first three categories may be merged into one. This aims to make the forum shorter and thus, navigation easier while also keeping the most-used areas visible.

EXAMS
The Jounin and Chuunin exams are now permanently open, as you are able to join them anytime as long as you have been a Genin or Chuunin for a month. If you fail, you may re-enter in 2 weeks.

EVENTS
Missions have been assigned into the Mission Boards category, where anyone can make a mission and offer rewards. WE hope this will encourage others to do these missions instead of having to ask Kages all the time!

Also, the House of Terror is our Halloween event. Can you survive the horde of zombies?

Other important events to note include:
- The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen have been formed, and are being led by Zero
- Zabi has passed away, and Cepeda has taken over from him as Hokage
- Mu has defeated Johnny in a battle for the title of Tsuchikage
- The Great Naruto Bridge is on the verge of collapse
- Akatsuki may have gone into hiding
- The Sins and Virtues arc is over
- Birth of a New World arc begins
- The LXG is attacking Kirigakure

Winter - Spring 2011/2012​

Naruto RPG has been through many ups and downs since its inception, but there's one thing you have to admit: It's been around for two years! With the advancement of the second year of roleplaying, there are many more features, news and events coming your way! (And those that have!)

Just before we begin, if you've been away since December, you should know we had a 200-year timeskip. Technology is now very slightly more advanced, but the world retains the old feel. Here's the plot:

Now, onto the main news topics that have occurred since December:

Activity Checks
Everyone:

Activity checks are being held for the Hyuuga, Uchiha and Uzumaki clans so that we know how many of each are active for the upcoming event. Please post on this if you don't wish to lose your character, and wish to join in the new event.

Also, there's a separate activity check for everyone else. Why not just tie them together, you may ask? The issue with doing that is then we'd have to filter out who from each clan posted in the full check. In any case, this will concern your character, even if you aren't Hyuuga, Uchiha or Uzumaki. Come along and let us know you're still here!

Timeskip

This ties in with the activity check and the upcoming event. The timeskip will be one year, and there is even a countdown at the top of the site letting you know about this. When in this timeskip period, there is a 50% bonus to the stats and JP you get from your words. ALSO, the best two timeskip posts get a rank-up!

Were you there two years ago when the site began? Yes? No? Regardless of if you were or not, this will allow you to experience what the world was like back then! I have restored many of the old rules, application forms and more. Come along if you want a taste of the past!
(Please note: all events in NRPG Classic will not affect those in NRPG V4, and vice versa. This means you can have the same character in each, doing completely different things. Have fun!)

New Theme

NRPG got a new theme on its birthday. Instead of the blue we had, we're now bright orange! NRPG feels a lot cheerier and happier as a result of this. Come and see it - it's an amazing first sight!
